Installation

This gyro will be installed different from the standard EK2-0704 gyro. The EK2-0704A headlock gyro must be installed vertically, while the upper side faces to the same direction as the tail blade. We recommend you to use two-sided foam tape, included with EK1-0222 , while securing it with one of the straps from EK1-0222. Also Velcro fasteners would work. Also make you helicopter as much as possible free from vibrating.
Then connect the headlock gyro (3pins) cable to the fourth channel on the receiver and connect a fast reaction servo (like EK2-0500 ) to the heading hold gyro.

The single orange cable doesn’t need to be connected to the receiver. If the gain of the headlock gyro > 50, it is in the headlocking mode. If gain < 50, it will be in the normal mode.

At last, tie up all cables, so they don’t get caught by the running parts.
